Memebox unboxing and review - Superbox #84 Skinfood

Alright, ready for another Membox review?  I was actually very excited when I saw this box and thought it was a must to buy! I bought the Superbox #84 Skinfood along with the Superbox #82 The Face Shop. The value set made it absolutely irresistible.

For those who are not familiar, Memebox is a Korean based beauty company. It provides 4 to 8 products in their boxes and it can vary from deluxe to full sized items. The boxes are themed so you can pick based on your liking. The Superboxes are all full sized items. This box in particular had 5 full sized items and the sizes were actually decent. The size was actually much bigger than the one from Face Shop. We have a Skin Food in the Bay Area and I tend to buy from them almost every other month, so when I saw the email for this brand I bought it immediately.

First item was a Facial Water Vita-C Cream (75g) $13. A fruity blend facial cream. The info card says its better if it is refrigerated for better moisturizing ad soothing. Its a nice size bottle but got to admit the bottle does not look as nice as many of the products I have gotten from Memebox.

Second item was a Black Sugar Mask Wash Off (100g) $9. I actually pretty happy and surprise to see this. I bought one months before I got this box and have been using it. It the product can serve both as a mask and a scrub. The instructions suggests for leaving it on for about 10-15 minutes, but I tend to lose track of time and leave it on for 30 mins. Once I was it off, my skin feels awesome! Very smooth and radiant. Smells good too!  I think I bought it for more at the store.

Third item was a Egg White Pore Meringue Foam (200ml) $13. It's a nice face wash that penetrates deep into the skin. I have yet to find a face wash that can deep clean my pores, so hope this works.

Fourth item, was a Tomato Whitening Toner (180ml) $17. Its a toner to make the skin brighter, cleaner, suppler. I have used the Cucumber Toner from SkinFood before and really liked it. Their toner doesn't dry out the skin like other toners and the skin feels refreshed afterwards. Plus it would it be great if the product can whiten and brighten my skin.

Last item was a Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake (4g) $5.  Its a simple brow powder compact. Not very useful for me since I was blessed with dark eyebrows, any more color and I would look ridiculous.

I liked this box a lot more than the Face Shop box. The box was a lot bigger, the items were more beauty oriented.  The items added up to be over $50. 4 out of 5 items were useful. The last one wasn't something I needed. Memebox never fails to amuse me. The products in the Superbox doesn't seem to be as much as many of the other Memeboxes I have gotten previously, but I personally really like this brand, so I think it is worth it.

Pony is also coming soon to Memebox. I have watches some of her Youtube videos and I think they are fabulous. Her tutorials are very doable, even for those who are not skilled in make up, ahem...

Memebox Unboxing & Review - Superbox #82 The Face Shop

Hello everybody! It has been awhile since I had written a review, but doesn’t mean I haven’t more subscription boxes lately! LOL! But have to admit that I’ve been good with controlling myself with purchasing more Memeboxes, up until this past week.  I had to give into their temptations!

The last 2 boxes I wasn’t really blown away, so I’ve been slacking.; however, I have been really excited to receive my new boxes: Superbox #84 Skinfood and Superbox #82 The Face Shop.  In addition, I got them within a week of purchasing. The others one I bought a month ago are still in transaction. We have Skinfood and Face Shop available in the Bay Area, so I was confident I would enjoy the box and overall I was correct!

Starting off with the Superbox #84 The Face Shop, it had 6 items.  I was a bit disappointed with the box size. It was the same size as the Mini Boxes that had 4 items.  Luckily, when I picked up the box, it was relatively heavy and packed with products.  

First item was a Calendula Eden Essential Moisture Cream (50 ml) $9.  The cream is made me calendula extracts and hyaluronic acid. I just realized those marigold flowers are called calendula. I thought there were daisies…  The focus of the cream is to prevent moisture loss and to firm up sagging skin. Does anyone else feel like Korean products focus on firming our saggy skin?!  This actually is perfect because I wasn’t very pleased with the Skin Ceramic Donkey Milk & Argan Oil Multi Steam Cream from the Memebox #7 Milk box.  That cream feels a bit oily but doesn’t moisture. Its wintertime, so my skin is suffering. Plus there was this odd herbal scent to it. Hopefully this new one from Face Shop will revamp my skin.

Second item was Me:ex Pastel Cushion Blusher (5g) $7. There were 5 options and I believe I got the Pink Cushion. It has a cute fluffy puff, but it was very difficult to get it back to close. 

Third item was a cute Lovely Me:ex Mini Pet Hand Cream (30 ml) $6. It has a cute animal resting on the top of jar. And it is also a nice size to keep in my purse.  This also has 4 different scents and each scent is a different animal and color.

Next item was a Lovely Me:ex Dessert Lip Balm (6g) $8. $8 for a lip balm seems kind of expensive no? It is suppose to melt onto our chapped lips and creates a moisture barrier.

Fifth item was a Lovely Me:ex You&Eyes 05 Sand Brown (1.6g) $5. A goldish, sandy eye shadow.  I’m not ecstatic about it, but still alright.  The color seems too dramatic for me and I don’t have many occasions for this.

Last item, on the card it says Milk Plus Calming Moisuture Body Lotion (300 ml) $8; however, I got a shower gel. Where’s my lotion Memebox?? I had too many of these body wash so I was hoping for a body lotion. 

Overall, I feel alright about this box. Not as excited as I was hoping, but I will deal. The box added up to be a bit over $40 and they are all full sized items. There are so many awesome products from The Face Shop, but they went for the more travel size items, so I was slightly disappointed, but they still are useful. I purchased this box as a set with the Skin Food, so I was able to save a bit with the shipping. If you are in their VIP program, it probably had additional discounts, plus early access to the boxes. I feel like the Memeboxes are usually better than the Superboxes. The Memeboxes usually have more expensive and bigger products, while the Superboxes are suppose to be packed with full size products it doesn’t live up to its name.

Memebox Unboxing & Reviews - Superbox #23 Summermeeting

Here is another Memebox weekend. Totally bombarding everybody with these reviews. Totally excited about this week. It was a nonstop week of mail. I am just in love with mail especially when it's packed with beauty products I love!

Memebox for those who are unfamiliar to it, is a Korean beauty subscription company. Each box is packed with 4-5 deluxe or full sized items, dependent on the type of box.

The Summermeeting box has 5 full sized items and I'm in love with each item.

First item was Finco U Control Sun Block. Got to test out this sunblock, I'm not young anymore need to protect my skin while I still can. Hopefully it doesn't smell too much like sunblock and doesn't sting. I tend to rub sunblock into my eyes for no reason.

Second is a Hope Girl Power Volume Mascara Waterproof. My sister tried it and I didn't notice any clumping or smudges. Its suppose to be good for 24 hrs and its waterproof.

Third item was Cnkcos Transformer Solution. It came in 2 bottles. Apparently you are suppose to mix the first bottle with the second and it will turn into yellowish gel. Great for cooling the irritated, sunburnt skin.

Fourth item was a borntree Bloom Mineral Avenue Air Fit Sun Cc. Its a beautiful CC cream in compact form. You push the cushion down and the product will squeeze out. Then you just simply spread it evenly on the face.

Last item was W.Holic Glutathione Whitening Essence. Its a whitening essence that can also soften the skin. Memebox knows me well. I've been wanting to whiten my skin.

Again, I have been blown away by Memebox. I'm able to use all products. For $32 I get over $150 in products. In fact it was under $32 because I used my memepoints and codes. Totally worth it, plus Memebox upgraded my shipping to express for free. I got these boxes much earlier than expected, plus I saved money!

Memebox Unboxing & Review- Superbox #24 Waxing

It's definitely a Memebox weekend! Got 2 Memeboxes to review, opened the door to another one. Busy busy busy.  Its a Christmas weekend for me!

Going to start with the waxing box. Got to admit I bought it mainly for the spoilers. I haven't been taken care of myself for awhile, but Memebox really motivated to start. Memebox is a Korean subscription site, but the nice thing about it, is that it's not a monthly curated box. They come out with new boxes every week and you just purchase the ones you like. Like many Memebox addicts out there, I have a pile of boxes stack against my bed. Who could possibly resist especially when they have great deals and discounts weekly?

First item was a Intercos Smooth Sensitive Removal Cream. It a big jar. Similar to Veets it's a hair removal cream. A little hesitant to use it, haven't waxed in years. But I was very happy to see it.

Second item was Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel. Its a nice gel for sensitive skins. Plus great treatment after shaving or peeling.

Third was a Angel Factory Under - Arm White Peeling Perfume set.  This was in the spoiler and I was totally intrigued. Its a three step process. It can exfoliate the dead skin and whiten those armpits! Love it! Plus there are 5 packs to try.

Fourth was a Ray Pearls Shaving & Face Wash. Its a sticky fash wash plus shaving cream. It will minimize the skin blemishes and irritations. Not sure what to shave on my face but I'll give it a try.

Lastly was Doroco Tinkle 3 For Women. Its basically 2 plastic razors. Not sure why these are so expensive.  They are $16 for 2 of these. Razors can always be useful.

Totally love this box. It was fun to open this box and I like much better than the previous boxes. I was about to stop buying Superboxes because I was previously disappointed, but this has regained my interest in it. This box added up to be over $100 in products and I only paid less than 1/3 the price. Totally worth it.

Memebox Unboxing & Review--Superbox # Fermented Cosmetics

Here is another Memebox unboxing! I received this box friday, June 13 and I got to admit I am impressed. Memebox never fails to surprise me. I purchased the Fermented Superbox. Superbox usually consists of 5 or more full sized items and they are all within the same theme. As usual it has the information card.  This time there was no pictures, so I was a little sad.

I realized over the weekend that the memeboxes is a great deal. Regardless of the # of boxes the shipping cost is still $6.99. On the other hand, each items at the Memeshop = additional charge. Plus you get a lot more items for a much lower cost. Who can resist?!

On to the unboxing! First, I got Fermenting Bean Sleeping Pack from E Choice.  I tried it one night, it's gel-like texture had  slight cooling effect. It was slightly sticky at first, but didn't affect my sleep. I washed it off and my skin seemed softer.

Next we got a Galactomyces Eye Cream from The Skin House. Its an anti-wrinkle cream. I tried some on my hands, it felt very light and smelled great!  Gonna try it again on my eyes soon.

The 3rd item is a Galactomyces Treatment Toner. It's suppose to moisturize,  brighten, improve texture and clarity.  Its beautiful bottle and its huge! This is going to last awhile. Need to finish the one I have on hand first. 

Fourth, we got an Intensive Vital Swan Cream from Swanicoco. I'm always glad to receive cream. Face cream can be expensive, so anytime I receive one, I'm super excited! The jar is pretty big, so it's gonna last me awhile. Its good for deep hydration, nourishment,  and brightening.

Then we got an Organic Seed Hair Essence from Whamisa. The week before I receive the box, Memebox was doing a sale on this brand,  so I speculated this would be in the box.  I was hoping for the shampoo,  but this is just as exciting. Its a leave-in hair essence after shampooing. I'm so tempted to try, but I'm scared I'm going to use it all too quickly!

Lastly,  we got a Fermented Evening Primrose Mask from Sooryehan. This is another sheet mask and this time I got 2. I really like these sheet masks because I can just leave it on my face and go to bed. It says to leave on for 10-15 mins, but I usually just leave these on until my skin absorbs all the essence. Definitely leaves my face super soft.

Overall, I'm very happy to receive the items in the box. The Superbox is slightly more expensive than the regular Memeboxes and Luckybox, but you get 5-7 full size items! The items added up to be over $150 and I only paid about 1/5 the price with all the discounts Memebox provides. Once you sign up Memebox provides you wonderful deals, nobody can resist.  I'm super estactic about the end of this month because I'm going to be receiving many more. Memebox, you are a true addiction. I have to also praise Memebox for their customer service, I had an issue with my account, I was not able to make purchases! I contacted them and within an hour they emailed me back with a resolution.  Absolutely in awe.
