Memebox unboxing and review - Superbox #84 Skinfood

Alright, ready for another Membox review?  I was actually very excited when I saw this box and thought it was a must to buy! I bought the Superbox #84 Skinfood along with the Superbox #82 The Face Shop. The value set made it absolutely irresistible.

For those who are not familiar, Memebox is a Korean based beauty company. It provides 4 to 8 products in their boxes and it can vary from deluxe to full sized items. The boxes are themed so you can pick based on your liking. The Superboxes are all full sized items. This box in particular had 5 full sized items and the sizes were actually decent. The size was actually much bigger than the one from Face Shop. We have a Skin Food in the Bay Area and I tend to buy from them almost every other month, so when I saw the email for this brand I bought it immediately.

First item was a Facial Water Vita-C Cream (75g) $13. A fruity blend facial cream. The info card says its better if it is refrigerated for better moisturizing ad soothing. Its a nice size bottle but got to admit the bottle does not look as nice as many of the products I have gotten from Memebox.

Second item was a Black Sugar Mask Wash Off (100g) $9. I actually pretty happy and surprise to see this. I bought one months before I got this box and have been using it. It the product can serve both as a mask and a scrub. The instructions suggests for leaving it on for about 10-15 minutes, but I tend to lose track of time and leave it on for 30 mins. Once I was it off, my skin feels awesome! Very smooth and radiant. Smells good too!  I think I bought it for more at the store.

Third item was a Egg White Pore Meringue Foam (200ml) $13. It's a nice face wash that penetrates deep into the skin. I have yet to find a face wash that can deep clean my pores, so hope this works.

Fourth item, was a Tomato Whitening Toner (180ml) $17. Its a toner to make the skin brighter, cleaner, suppler. I have used the Cucumber Toner from SkinFood before and really liked it. Their toner doesn't dry out the skin like other toners and the skin feels refreshed afterwards. Plus it would it be great if the product can whiten and brighten my skin.

Last item was a Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake (4g) $5.  Its a simple brow powder compact. Not very useful for me since I was blessed with dark eyebrows, any more color and I would look ridiculous.

I liked this box a lot more than the Face Shop box. The box was a lot bigger, the items were more beauty oriented.  The items added up to be over $50. 4 out of 5 items were useful. The last one wasn't something I needed. Memebox never fails to amuse me. The products in the Superbox doesn't seem to be as much as many of the other Memeboxes I have gotten previously, but I personally really like this brand, so I think it is worth it.

Pony is also coming soon to Memebox. I have watches some of her Youtube videos and I think they are fabulous. Her tutorials are very doable, even for those who are not skilled in make up, ahem...

Memebox Unboxing & Review - Superbox #82 The Face Shop

Hello everybody! It has been awhile since I had written a review, but doesn’t mean I haven’t more subscription boxes lately! LOL! But have to admit that I’ve been good with controlling myself with purchasing more Memeboxes, up until this past week.  I had to give into their temptations!

The last 2 boxes I wasn’t really blown away, so I’ve been slacking.; however, I have been really excited to receive my new boxes: Superbox #84 Skinfood and Superbox #82 The Face Shop.  In addition, I got them within a week of purchasing. The others one I bought a month ago are still in transaction. We have Skinfood and Face Shop available in the Bay Area, so I was confident I would enjoy the box and overall I was correct!

Starting off with the Superbox #84 The Face Shop, it had 6 items.  I was a bit disappointed with the box size. It was the same size as the Mini Boxes that had 4 items.  Luckily, when I picked up the box, it was relatively heavy and packed with products.  

First item was a Calendula Eden Essential Moisture Cream (50 ml) $9.  The cream is made me calendula extracts and hyaluronic acid. I just realized those marigold flowers are called calendula. I thought there were daisies…  The focus of the cream is to prevent moisture loss and to firm up sagging skin. Does anyone else feel like Korean products focus on firming our saggy skin?!  This actually is perfect because I wasn’t very pleased with the Skin Ceramic Donkey Milk & Argan Oil Multi Steam Cream from the Memebox #7 Milk box.  That cream feels a bit oily but doesn’t moisture. Its wintertime, so my skin is suffering. Plus there was this odd herbal scent to it. Hopefully this new one from Face Shop will revamp my skin.

Second item was Me:ex Pastel Cushion Blusher (5g) $7. There were 5 options and I believe I got the Pink Cushion. It has a cute fluffy puff, but it was very difficult to get it back to close. 

Third item was a cute Lovely Me:ex Mini Pet Hand Cream (30 ml) $6. It has a cute animal resting on the top of jar. And it is also a nice size to keep in my purse.  This also has 4 different scents and each scent is a different animal and color.

Next item was a Lovely Me:ex Dessert Lip Balm (6g) $8. $8 for a lip balm seems kind of expensive no? It is suppose to melt onto our chapped lips and creates a moisture barrier.

Fifth item was a Lovely Me:ex You&Eyes 05 Sand Brown (1.6g) $5. A goldish, sandy eye shadow.  I’m not ecstatic about it, but still alright.  The color seems too dramatic for me and I don’t have many occasions for this.

Last item, on the card it says Milk Plus Calming Moisuture Body Lotion (300 ml) $8; however, I got a shower gel. Where’s my lotion Memebox?? I had too many of these body wash so I was hoping for a body lotion. 

Overall, I feel alright about this box. Not as excited as I was hoping, but I will deal. The box added up to be a bit over $40 and they are all full sized items. There are so many awesome products from The Face Shop, but they went for the more travel size items, so I was slightly disappointed, but they still are useful. I purchased this box as a set with the Skin Food, so I was able to save a bit with the shipping. If you are in their VIP program, it probably had additional discounts, plus early access to the boxes. I feel like the Memeboxes are usually better than the Superboxes. The Memeboxes usually have more expensive and bigger products, while the Superboxes are suppose to be packed with full size products it doesn’t live up to its name.

Memebox Global 14 - Unboxing and Review

Hello everybody! It's Monday again! I was nowhere near ready to be back at work.  But got to earn to cover my shopping expenses!

Earlier this week, I took up the courage to flatten all my Memebox boxes and stuffed them in the recycling bin. I was so hard, but it was taking up too much space! For those unfamiliar with the Memebox, Memebox is a Korean beauty subscription box. Typically the boxes are stuffed with 4-8 deluxe to full sized items. If you pick the Superbox, they are all full sized items. The boxes start from $15. When you are lucky, you can use Memepoints to get the boxes for cheaper or even free. Don't pay full price (even though the boxes are extremely cheap)!

The company comes out with new boxes and deals ready weekly, so get your credit cards ready! For those who are VIP status, it's even better deals. You will have to maintain 5 box purchases every 3 months, which isn't too difficult considering they come out with new ones so often. 

Anyhow, onto the unboxing. This time it's the Memebox Global #14. This one totally blew me away. It came in a big box and it was packed! I bought this as a series. Sometimes Memebox offers their Global boxes in series so you can buy 3 or more boxes in 1 order and pay less. You can save on the shipping, which is nice since the change with Memebox's new shipping policy.

The first item in the box are 2 randomly selected body wash with Marilyn Monroe on the bottle. It says it's full size,  but it's more of a travel size. Cute bottle,  but I'll finish off my other ones first. Marilyn Monroe, you are gonna have to wait. Full size = $4

Next was a Sally's box 4set. This has the cutest packaging!  4 sheet mask, can't complain. I was running low on masks, so this is awesome! It says to put it on for 15-20 minutes. I usually nap with it on, so it goes over that time.  Anyone else does same thing? Full size = $14

Third item was a Beauty People Miss 100 Gel Liner. I have mixed feelings about this.  I got a gold eyeliner.  The 3 selections were all pearl colors. I'm not keen on sparkly stuff on my eyes, but worth a try considering Snow White is on it. LOL. Full size = $38

Fourth item was a VOV Goodbye Black Smudge Waterproof Mascara. I was really hoping for black eyeliner which was the second option.  I already got a lot of mascaras from my previous boxes, but no worries I found it a good home already. Full size = $16

Fifth item was a 4 Package Set from Kocostar. Similar to the Sally's set, there are 4 masks.  The difference is, it covers different parts of the body.  It covers the hair, face, fingers, and foot peeling. I just did the foot peeling mask. My feet is a bit pruney right now.  We shall see! Full size = $20

Sixth item was a Mineral Essence In Liquid Foundation from Sua Young. It says its better than bb and cc creams. The color looks a bit light for my skin right now.  I shall wait till winter.  Its a deluxe size product. Full size = $34

Seventh item was a beautiful bottle of Golden Time Vita Capsule Essence from Recipe by Nature.  Based on the card, its "literally packed full of numerous vitamin capsules that will deliver deep nourishment and nutrition to your skin, balancing out the oil/moisture level, brightening darkened skin tones and evening out rough skin textures for a much smoother, silkier complexion.  I'm intrigued,  but I promised myself I would finish my other products first. Should I be shaking it first? Full size = $42

Last item, a;t fox Fantasy Holic Lip & Cheek Designer Pencil.  It's a 2 in 1 pencil for the cheeks and lips.  It already became part of my sisters collection. LOL!  Full size = $7.

Overall, I'm in love with the box.  A few of the items, I can do without, but the masks are awesome. After seeing it,  I don't care whatelse was in the box! The boxes were priced $23 each with shipping, but because I bought the series from 14 - 16, I only had to pay for the shipping once. Plus, I used coupon codes and memepoints to maximize the discount!

Memebox Unboxing & Review - Memebox Oriental Medicine

Are you ready for another Memebox review?!  I got this Memebox earlier this week and I was so excited to see all these items. Memebox is one of my favorite subscription box. I haven't found one that beats the price and products of these products yet. Memebox is a Korean subscription box packed with popular Korean beauty boxes. Its not your typical subscription box.  You buy the box you want. The box is typically stuffed with 4-8 deluxed or full sized items. There's boxes to accommodate all types of people. Don't miss out on all the deals for this month! There's a lot of coupon codes available.  I also listed a bunch of them in one of my last posts, so copy away!

In the Oriental Medicine box there are 5 types of items and all items have ginseng in it. Ginseng is wonderful for your health. The information card says the products will make our skin looking healthy and youthful.

The first item is a D'Ran Wonder Serum. Its says its erase those years off and I think it can also whiten. This bottle was nicely wrapped in bubble wrap when it came.  I appreciate that, especially since I saw the postman just drop the box on the front porch without much care.

Second item was 2 Purederm Korean Herb Mask. There were 4 types of mask and we got 2. I always like masks in these boxes because you can slap one on, fall asleep, by the time I wake up my face is refreshed. My sister tried one and said it was better than the one from the Milk box.

Third item was Donginbi's Donginbidam Red Ginseng Aqua Oil & Red Ginseng Aqua Pack Essence. Its a deluxe sample but the packaging is gorgeous and a great size. With this set I'll have silkier and smoother skin.  My skin has been suffering from lack of care. I hope this will reverse all the damage! Has anyone tried it and has made a difference? 

Fourth item was a Hanhui CC cream. Hm... again with anti-wrinkle and whitening.  I guess oriental herbs and red ginseng is mainly for that.  Need to start using these to even out the tones on my face. I've been having red splotches.  Will CC cream cover up the red... lets find out. 

Last item is a Shib Jang Ceng-Chun Ji Heang Hand Cream. Memebox must have heard my prayers for needing hand cream! With such a big bottle my hands are going to feel awesome. I wash my hands constantly and the card says its good whenever my hands feel dry or coarse. That sounds like a perfect match! Plus it smells wonderful. Kind of flowery but not too much.

By far, this is one of my favorite boxes.  Plus, I got Memepoints from purchasing it. What a deal! The box was priced $23 plus $6.99 but of course I used some memepoints and coupon codes so it was under $20 for the box. Plus the value of the items were about $106. I just love deals! Memebox Unboxing & Review - Memebox Special #7 Milk

Everybody, it is unboxing day! I'm so excited to be unboxing 2 Memeboxes! I receive these boxes earlier this week and I gotta say they are one of the best I have received. I will start off with the Memebox special #7 Milk, then the Oriental Medicine in my next review.  These 2 boxes only gives me more of a reason to continue buying Memeboxes.

The first item was a Hello Everybody Bubble Bath Steam Milk. It comes in a pouch of powder and turns into a bubble bath once you mix it with water. Every time I open the box I smell the vanilla. Smells wonderful. 

The second item is a big bottle of Hello Everybody Nature Holic Body Lotion. Its a big bottle of lotion made with organic goat milk, aloe vera, honey, lemon balm, and spearmint extracts.  Great for the summer

The third item is a Pure Smile Choosy Lip Scrub. Memebox knew my lips need some love. Going to try it and scrub all those dead skin off. Summer had really damaged my lips, got to try this to see if I can repair it.

Fourth item was a Pure Smile Milk Mask Pack. My sister tried it and it didn't do much. We had tried better. Next!

Fifth item was Skin Ceramic Donkey Milk & Argan Oil Multi Steam Cream. Yes, its with donkey milk. No chemical preservatives,  no artificial fragrance,  no artificial coloring.  I'm hesitant,  but im really curious. Plus I love the packaging.  Packaging is a big deal for me & I'm sold on this item.

The sixth item is a Enesti Rice & Milk Foaming Cleanser. Too many cleansers now! But im intrigued since milk and rice is great for the skin.

Last item is a Pure Smile Choosy Lip Pack Milk. This is a downer for me. I tried it from another box and it didn't do anything.  The lip patch should have hydrated my lips and it didn't.  The gel like texture actually didnt really stay on my lips well. I'll pass.

Overall,  I'm in love with the items.  All 7 items are full sized items and added up to be $91. The box cost $23 with $6.99. I received 5 Memepoints from buying this, so that was a definite plus. I paired it up with coupon codes and Memepoint I had and it added up to be less than $23. I think its totally worth it, even if I had to wait. Memebox Unboxing & Reviews - Scented box

Hello everybody! Here we are with another review! This is going to be long review with 3 Memebox reviews! Stay tune for additional coupon codes and ways to earn more Memepoints!

By now,  I think most know what Memeboxes are and how addicted I am to them. Ono is probably rolling his eyes and its going to get stuck up there one there. For those who are new to Memebox, they are Korean curated boxes packed with Korean cosmetic poplar in Korea.  The boxes range from $15 to $40. There are different types of boxes and some are themed, so you can purchase the ones that attract you most. This is where you can get addicted because you only purchase the ones you want and they come out with new boxes weekly!

So I got the Scented Memeboxes this week and it was a definite surprise. Memebox sent the box by express mail so it came much earlier than expected.  Btw I got these boxes with a super good deal. They were originally $15 each, but Memebox came out with a deal of 2 + 1. So you pay for 2 and get the 3rd one free! How can I resist?! There were 3 scents including the Rose Box, Baby Powder Box, and Grapefruit Box.

Let's start with the Rose Box. The box had 4 items and it was a mixture of full sized and deluxe sized items.

First item was Evas Rosemine  Plump Tint 01 Roseberry. Its a tinted gel like lipstick that's suppose to hydrate our dry lips. I'm not really a rose person so this will go to my lucky sister who loves the smell.

Next was the Rosemine Floral Remedy Foam Cleanser. It clean out all those dirty pores with its micro bubbles! This will have to wait, I'm still trying to finish all the other cleansers I got. But it smells wonderful because it uses actual floral extracts.

Next was a Happy Bath Rose Essence Body Wash. This would great during hot shower because it's suppose to lock on moisture.

The final item was a bit of disappointment for its size. Its Hope Girl Magic Skin Primer. There are 5 samples of these in foil packets. Doesn't seem so deluxe size to me so that was a bit upsetting, but they gave 5, so I can definitely give it a try. Can't really complain because these boxes were a lot cheaper than the usual boxes.

Then I got the Baby Powder scented box which I was very excited for because I love the scent in general!

First item was Evas Mimi Lauryne's Perfume Soap. Its good for both facial and body. The scent is quite strong. I held it for a brief second and I could smell it on my hands. I love the packaging, but I'm more into body wash.

Second was a Consensus Fabric Deodorizer Baby Powder. This would great to spray on Ono after his football. Suppose to kill 99% of germs & molds causing the stink!

Third was Lailly 7 Seconds Make up Booster. I saw this in the spoiler and read the card but still don't know what it is. Its suppose to act as a base and a moisturizer.

Last item was a Happy Fam Deodorizer Fresh Baby Powder. Honestly, I do not use deodorant because I regulate my diet so I don't stink, or I would like to believe. But this would great for days I don't feel so fresh. On the card it says it's for our armpits. You never know when you might need these!

Okay, last box Grapefruit box.

First item was Evas Mimi Lauryne's Dress Perfume Mist de Grapefruit.  Smells a bit sweet, but great summer scent. Its a big bottle. Forget about perfume, I'll just use this!  Love the box it came in.

Second was Kael 28 Sun Killing Grapefruit Gel. This was quite nice after being under the dun. Somewhat like slathering Aloe on yourself. It has a cooling effect. Sticky at first but was fine afterwards.

Third was 2 Sun Smile Hydro Gel Choosy Fruit. I've seen these at Daiso for $1.50 and its a Japanese product.  What happened? I'll still try these since my lips needs some love.

Last item was Happy Fam Deo Fresh Grapefruit.  Sister took it after she saw it. These are the same as baby powder ones. Its great for those hot summer days!

Well that concludes my 3 Memebox unboxing. I was a little disappointed with some of the items in the Rose and Grapefruit Box but that's alright, the previous boxes made up for it and I think it's a wonderful gift for friends and family.
