June Glossybox Unboxing & Review

Hello Everybody! My sister just received her June Glossybox, so I am taking the opportunity to write a review on it! It’s another beauty box that cost $21/month. Each box has about 5 luxury Beauty Product and from what I speculate they also provide a gift card. This month’s box is no doubt for 4th of July! Red, white and blue! The box itself looks fantastic; it’s very sturdy and reusable.

There are additional discounts if you purchase more boxes. There is a monthly package ($21/month), a 3-month package ($60), a 6-month package ($115), and a 12 month package ($220). And you can either pay with credit card or PayPal. Shipping starts the third week of every month and there is no additional shipping cost!

Now onto the products! Each box has a card that describes what is in the box and the cost of each product if they were full sized. Like I have mentioned previously, there was also a gift card in the box. It was a mystery gift card from Wonder. Unfortunately the card was only worth $5, if it only it was a bit more since the products on that website are all so expensive!!

The first item in the box is nail polish from StrangeBeautiful. It’s a nice bottle with 2 colors attached, blue and red. It’s a nice size to try out the color and to travel with.

Next is a Texture Dry Finishing Spray from Rusk. It says it would add texture, shape and grip. It says it add shape and texture to the hair without making it stiff or chalky like regular hair spray. That sounds pretty enticing. I have deterred from hair spray for many years due to those reasons.

Then there is a Patagonia Body Butter from Ayres. It’s good for fixing dry patches with all-natural body formula. This again would be great for travelling. Especially when the flight and hotel sucks your skin dry! And the size makes it very easy to travel with.

Second to last there is a bottle of Platinume Gold Imperial Repair Hand Therapy. It promises our hands with hydration, restoration, and softening. The bottle itself looks very luxurious with the gold print.

Lastly, there is a Champagne eye shadow pencil. It claims to not smudge or smear, which is great for people like me because halfway through the night my makeup is either smeared or on my hands from all the eye rubbing.

Overall, it’s a very nice box by adding up the products based on its full size prices, it’s about $92. All 5 products are deluxe samples, so it would be great to try it out a few times before committing. Plus there samples for everything, your hair, body, nails, face, etc. I have to admit, I have been spoiled by Memebox and their full size item and jam-packed box. It was a little disappointing to see more filling then product, but for the cost and the items you receive it’s a great value.

As for me, I’m sorry Glossybox, but I am going to have to stick to Memebox for now, but I really like the different selections you had for this month’s box!
